Proud Author Acrylic Ornament

Proud Author Acrylic Ornament

The Proud Author Acrylic Ornament gives a writing milestone a small place to shine. An open book, a laurel of warm ochre leaves and clear ivory lettering sit against a deep green background. The message is simple enough to keep close throughout the year: being an author is something worth acknowledging, from the first finished draft to the latest book on a shelf.

A keepsake for a writing life

Choose it for a debut novelist, a writing friend celebrating publication, or a mentor whose encouragement has helped other stories grow. It can accompany a launch-day card or become a personal keepsake after a demanding project. The design does not include a year or a book title, so it can continue to feel relevant as the writer begins their next chapter.

Round acrylic with a hanging ribbon

The ornament is a three-inch circle, approximately 76.2 mm in diameter, made from 3 mm thick acrylic with a glossy finish. Full-colour UV printing carries the front design. A satin ribbon passes through the hanging hole so you can suspend it from a suitable hook or branch. Ribbon colour may vary. This listing is for one physical ornament and ribbon, with no stand or gift box included.

The design and wording

The fixed front reads “Proud Author”. Below the words, an illustrated open book rests between leafy branches, with a few small stars completing the circular composition. Deep green, ivory and ochre give it a classic literary feel. The gold-like accents are printed colour, not metallic foil, glitter or gold leaf. The printed wording remains exactly as shown and does not change to a customer name.

Make the occasion personal

Add a short note explaining what you are celebrating. You might recall the first conversation about the book, a passage that made you pause, or the perseverance you saw during the revisions. A specific memory can make a small ornament feel thoughtfully chosen. The recipient can hang it near their writing space and remember the people who noticed the work along the way.

A ready-made design, ready to choose

This is a fixed artwork product, so no designer or name field is needed to order it. Choose the quantity you want and add the ornament to your cart. The wording and illustration stay as shown. For a printed author name, date or your own image, choose the separate customizable author name ornament and create a saved design there.

Display it where the front can be enjoyed without being knocked against a hard surface. A shelf hook near a writing desk or a sturdy branch on a festive tree can give it a place in the room. Check that the ribbon is secure before hanging. The ornament is decorative; it is not a keyring, a coaster or a toy.

Care for your keepsake

Handle the acrylic gently and wipe it with a soft cloth when needed. Avoid abrasive cleaners, scraping the printed face or leaving it against rough objects. Store it separately from hard decorations to reduce scratches. When you put it away, loop the ribbon loosely so it is ready for the next display. Keep it away from open flames and strong heat. Printed colours may vary slightly from the colours on a bright screen, and small differences in print alignment are normal.
