The sample cover reads ANANYA’S IDEAS inside a border of terracotta flowers, sage leaves and warm ochre details. A small open-book illustration sits at the bottom. The artwork leaves a clear centre for your words, so the personal detail stays easy to read. ANANYA’S IDEAS is example text; your final cover uses the design you create and approve online.

Keep the notepad near your desk for an opening sentence, a question about a character or a thought you want to revisit. Use it for workshop notes, a list of possible titles or the practical tasks that surround a creative project. You do not need to give every page the same job, and you do not need to wait for a fully formed idea before writing it down.

Wire binding and a choice of pages

This A5 notepad is bound along the left edge with wire. It is a bound writing pad, rather than a tear-off memo block. Choose ruled pages if you prefer writing lines for prose and lists, or unruled pages for freer notes, sketches and diagrams. The gallery’s open-page image illustrates the unruled option; ruled pages have printed writing lines.

The cover carries your personalised design. The inner pages do not contain story prompts, calendars, worksheets or preprinted planning templates. You can create your own sections, start a fresh page for each project or let the notes follow the day. Try your usual pen on a small area first, especially if you use wet inks or broad markers.

How to design your writing notepad

Choose your page style and A5 size, then click Customize product. Select Front before arranging the main cover. The gallery example is not preloaded. For the terracotta theme, download the botanical ideas-border PNG and upload it with Add a photo. The transparent file contains the flowers and book without the sample wording.

1. Place the botanical border inside the cover’s visible print guides, leaving space near the binding edge.
2. Choose Add words and enter your name as a separate editable layer.
3. Add “Ideas”, “Writing Notes” or your own short heading on another line.
4. Select Back if you want additional artwork or wording on the reverse, and inspect both covers.
5. Choose Review, confirm your text and page style, then save the design before adding the notepad to your cart.

The studio displays a 147 × 211 mm artwork canvas for each cover. Follow the on-screen guides when placing the border and wording. Keep names and fine details away from the wire-binding edge. Resize the illustration proportionally so the flowers and open book retain their shape. If you see an image-quality warning, reduce the image size or upload a larger source file before approving it.

Choose words that feel like yours

A first name and a short heading are enough for a personal cover. You could use “Mira’s Ideas”, a pen name or a project nickname. Check whether you want a possessive apostrophe, and read the name again after changing the font. Longer names may need an extra line or slightly smaller letters, but the text should still have room around it.

The botanical border is optional. You may upload your own illustration or artwork if you created it or have permission to reproduce it. A finished image with words embedded in it remains one picture; adding the words separately in the studio makes them easier to arrange while designing. Your approved artwork, rather than the gallery photograph, determines the printed cover.

Care and ordering details

Keep the notepad dry and avoid bending or crushing the wire binding. Store it where the cover and corners will not be folded. Gallery photographs are illustrative mockups; printed colours, paper appearance and placement may vary. Decorative colours are printed ink, not foil or raised decoration.
