A Personalised Reader Notebook for your reading life

Some books leave you with more than a plot to remember. There may be a character you want to talk about, a place you want to revisit or an idea that changes after the last chapter. Keep this notebook near your current read and catch those thoughts while they are fresh. A few lines can be enough; you do not need to write a formal review of every book.

The sample cover reads ANANYA’S BOOK NOTES. You can use your own name, a reading-group name or a short phrase that suits the way you read. The floral artwork feels at home beside novels, memoirs and collections of poetry. Forest-green lettering works naturally with the botanical palette, although the online studio lets you choose your own text arrangement.

Choose the pages that suit you

Select ruled pages for neat lists, reading reflections and longer passages of handwriting. Choose unruled pages if you prefer free-form layouts, sketches or a mixture of words and drawings. Both options share the same A5 size and materials. The gallery’s open-notebook photograph illustrates the ruled option; unruled pages have no printed writing lines.

This is an everyday notebook with a personalised cover. It does not contain preprinted review forms, reading trackers, calendars or guided journal prompts. You decide how to use each page. Make a simple contents list at the front if that helps, or start with the next book you finish and let the collection grow naturally.

Create your botanical cover

Choose a page style and A5 size, then click Customize product. Select Front in the designer. The gallery sample is not preloaded, so begin by adding your artwork and text. To recreate the botanical theme, download the floral book-wreath PNG and upload it with Add a photo. The transparent file contains the illustration without the example name or wording.

1. Place the floral wreath inside the cover’s print guides and leave a comfortable margin.
2. Choose Add words and enter your name. Include an apostrophe only if you want a possessive phrase such as “Ananya’s”.
3. Add “Book Notes”, “Reading Journal” or another short subtitle as separate editable text.
4. Choose Back if you would like a second illustration or a short line on the reverse.
5. Review both sides, check the selected page style and save the design before adding the notebook to your cart.

The studio provides a 140 × 203 mm artwork canvas for each cover. Keep essential wording within the visible guides and give longer names enough breathing room. Resize the wreath proportionally so that the open book and flowers keep their shape. If the studio flags image quality, make the artwork smaller or use a higher-resolution source before approving it.

A few ways to fill your reader notebook

Start a page with a title, the date you finished it and one thought you want to keep. Add the name of the friend who recommended it, or note which other book it brought to mind. You might leave space for a later reread, when the same story can feel different. These are suggestions for your own pages, rather than printed sections inside the notebook.

For a reading group, use it to collect discussion questions before the meeting. Keep a running list of future choices and jot down the recommendations that appear during conversation. If you prefer reading alone, use the same space for private reflections. There is no need to rate every book or turn a quiet pleasure into a task.

Care, artwork and ordering

Keep the notebook dry, store it flat and avoid prolonged direct sunlight. Open the perfect-bound spine gently rather than forcing it flat. Test your preferred pen on a small area first. Product images are illustrative mockups, and printed colours, paper appearance and placement may vary. Flowers and decorative details are printed ink, not raised decoration.

You may upload your own artwork if you have permission to reproduce it. A saved design is required to order, and your approved preview determines the printed cover.
