Finished the Draft Author Desk Plaque

✦ Finished the Draft Author Desk Plaque

Finished the Draft Author Desk Plaque brings a literary detail to an author’s day. Finished the Draft marks a real writing achievement without pretending that the journey ends there. The green and gold-toned design gives those words a small celebratory setting. It is a gift for the moment a friend, partner or writing-group member reaches the final page of a draft and deserves to notice what they have done.

✦ Make a writing milestone visible

Some achievements in a writing life deserve a moment on the desk: finishing a draft, bringing a book into the world, completing a long revision or simply deciding to keep going. An author desk plaque gives that moment a small, visible place. It can sit beside a laptop, among a few favourite books or on a shelf where the words are seen during the day. The book motif and uncluttered typography keep the design focused on the meaning of the message.

✦ Finished the Draft Author Desk Plaque – format and finish

This plaque is a 5 × 7 inch portrait rectangle made from 3 mm white opaque acrylic. The front is UV printed, and the plaque is supplied with a wooden dual-slot base. White opaque acrylic is not transparent glass or clear acrylic, so the artwork has a solid white background. The thin coloured border is part of the print. You receive one plaque and one stand in the chosen design. Books, stationery and other styling props are not part of the purchase.

✦ A personal way to celebrate an author

The ready-made designs suit a completed draft or an ongoing writing practice. For a named milestone, choose the separate custom version and add an author name, a title, a year or a short original line. A plaque can be given by a writing group, a critique partner, a friend or a family member who has seen the effort behind the pages. It is a keepsake for a personal achievement, rather than an official award, credential or statement from a publisher.

✦ Display and care

Place the wooden base on a stable, level surface and seat the plaque carefully in the appropriate slot. Keep the display away from the edge of a desk and areas where it might be knocked over. Clean the acrylic gently with a soft, non-abrasive cloth; avoid solvents, abrasive powders and rough paper towels. Keep the wooden stand dry and away from strong heat. Natural wood grain and tone can vary. This is an indoor decorative item and should be handled with care rather than treated as a toy.

✦ Ready-made artwork, clearly chosen

This listing is for the ready-made design shown in the main image. The message, colours and composition are supplied as displayed; there is no name or date entry for this version. If you would like to create your own wording, choose the separately listed customizable product in the same collection. The artwork reference image lets you examine the exact design without the texture and lighting of the product mockup. Please check the product title and quantity when adding it to the cart.

✦ A note to make the gift personal

If you are giving this to an author, think about the part of their writing life you want to recognise. A note about a scene you loved, the patience behind a revision or the excitement of a new idea can make the gift more specific. For a writing-group celebration, invite each person to contribute a short message. Those notes are something you add yourself; gift wrapping, message cards and presentation packaging are not included in this listing.
